It never ceases to amaze me how "blind" those who willfully deny God's existence can make themselves. Note, I said, "...make themselves," because I assert that one simply must be involved in some processof self-delusion or self-conviction of a falsehood so patently wrong.

Case in point, just recently there are yet again images from the Mars rover being promoted as though it has discovered evidence of Martian life. This time a video segment returned from the rover supposedly shows demonstrable evidence of an impression in the rock/surface which appears to be like a terrestrial pump assembly! Wow, the Martians developed water pumps EXACTLY like ours! Who would have thought that?

If you cannot tell I'm being facetious, I am mocking such a ridiculous conclusion. Obviously, the impressions were left by the rover.

But, that is not the point here; my point is this - the quasi-scientists, and frankly, even the scientists who are on the project take a hard, educated, serious look at such things! Why? Because they are desperate to find evidence of life out there. What is their criteria for evidence of such life? The precise same criteria that Intelligent Design proponents have been suggesting not only hints at the existence of God, but proves God's existence!

Shouldn't it be considered a joke that such brainy people scrutinize a supposed image of a pump and ponder its implications, yet look at not images, but actual working biological machines such as the human or animal cell but can't figure out IT HAS BEEN DESIGNED!

One would almost wish to call such people stupid, but they are not. They are very intelligent! But they are blinded by their own prejudices and willful denial. It makes them look stupid, true. But whenever someone denies what is so obviously true, they do look incredibly stupid.This is why the Bible states in Psalm 14, "The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God...' (14:1)."

Isn't it about time society at large called to account such foolishness conducted by scientists with a bias toward Evolutionary Theory and against God by demanding they stop promotion of nonsense! Isn't it time we demanded our children be taught wisdom, and how to see the plain evidence right before our eyes, in order to draw conclusions, rather than attempt to force-feed a theory which obviously contradicts the evidence before us?

So, a simple image of a "pump" on Mars to me speaks volumes about the pathetic state of science in our hyper-technological world today. It says to me we need to get back to basics when it comes to common sense and science.
